Jersey Community High School (JCHS) students crocheted a canopy for the George’s Local Brew patio and the structure was installed last week.
The brightly colored art installation is becoming a summer staple at George’s, as this is the third year in a row students have carried out the project.
Anyone wishing to learn how to crochet is welcome to head over to Germania in Jerseyville on Sunday, June 4, from 1 to 2 p.m. for free lessons. No experience is required and all skill levels are welcome. Crochet supplies will be provided.
