St. Mary Elementary School in Brussels recently announced the graduating class of 2023 with highest honors.
“These three vivacious young ladies had the tenacity and potential to excel in all academic areas,” said school officials in a release.
On Thursday, May 11, at St. Mary’s Church, Peyton Baalman, Alex Friedel, and Camyrn Klaas graduated from St. Mary’s School.
Peyton is the daughter of Wayne and Colleen Baalman of Brussels; Alex is the daughter of Neal and Charlene Friedel of Golden Eagle; and Camryn is the daughter of Brett and Jennifer Klaas of Batchtown.
After Mass, an awards ceremony was held in the school auditorium.
“These graduates of St. Mary School will accomplish great things with their motto, ‘Lead me, Lord,’ knowing God is always with them as they begin their new journey in high school,” read the release.
