The Jersey County Arts Council board meeting at West Lake Country Club at 6 p.m. The public is welcome to attend.
Sunday, June 4
The Jersey County Arts Council will host Crochet & Coffee at Germania Brew Haus from 1 to 2 p.m. to create shawls and lap blankets for cancer patients. Admission is free.
Monday, June 5
■ Trudy Cairns will host Kids Paint, Dino Days, from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Jersey County Arts Council in the basement of the First Presbyterian Church, 400 S. State St., in Jerseyville. The cost is $15, and registration and payment is due no later than May 29.
■ Jersey County Association for Home and Community Education will have a lesson on Pollinators by Master Gardener Rhonda Allen at 10 a.m. at the Jerseyville Library. Following the lesson, there is an optional potluck. Call Sandy at 618-466-3199, with any questions.

Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church is gearing up for Vacation Bible School (VBS) from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each evening. Ages 3 and potty trained through those entering 6th grade are welcome. Jerseyville Ford is celebrating their 100th anniversary from 4 to 6 p.m. at 1205 S. State St.
