News from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is welcome to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, June 4, we had 20 attending Sunday school and 26 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Others to remember include Lois Hart, Junia Day, Rod and Connie Sturgeon, Josh and Judy Cannon, Danny and Genise Hatcher, Delores and Karla Cannon, Darren and Shelly Pohlman, LaNise Kirk, Rich Icide, Jessica Andrews, John Kennedy, Journee Vinyard, Danyel Staats, Christy Walker, Sheryl Herschberger, Jonah Hart, Betty Bruce, Roger Wells, Ray Steele, Leta Woodring, Pattie Ann Anthony, Chuck Roberts, Mike Keenan, Jenny Godar, Tina Gillis, M. B. Williams, Gina Kallal, Connie Fair, Don Bigley, Chad Still, Beth Huffines, Eric Mumford, Ronnie Killebrew, Steven Pope, Ronnie Holmes, Duane Dawdy, Mike Hazelwood, Ronnie Brown, Jessi Rueter and Gianna, Sonie Smith, Judy Northcutt, Hank Cates and his parents Paul and Gina, Curtis Hall and the families of Larry Castleberry and Ryan Newingham.
Happy birthday wishes go out to Bob Krempasky on June 9 and Lynnette Eldred on June 10. There are no anniversaries to report this week.
Our monthly ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, June 13 at noon in the fellowship hall. All area ladies are welcome for a fun time and delicious meal.
Our VBS will be July 21, 22 and 23. Time to be announced later.
During morning worship Janelle Bishop and Curtis Hall each shared a song with us.
As we continue into June, don’t forget to pray for our much needed rain.
