The following police reports were filed between May 26 and June 1. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Robert L. Elliott, dob 7-02-1964, aggravated domestic battery/strangle.
Shannan N. Haney, dob 1-30-1996, financial exploitation of an elderly person/disabled/between $300-$5K, theft/control/person less than $500.
Ashley N. Hillmann, dob 11-05-1987, possession of meth/between 15-100 grams, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possess hypodermic/syringe/needles/1st.
Timothy D. Shewmake, dob 7-17-1982, possession of meth/between 15-100 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Crystal L. Warren, dob 4-15-1958, possess an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possession of drug paraphernalia, improper traffic lane usage.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Joshua F. Bailey, dob 10-16-1978, disorderly conduct.
Kathryn Ann Bushue, dob 4-15-1974, retail theft/display merchandise/less than $300.
Ruston C. Gilson, dob 7-12-1955, battery/makes physical contact.
Matthew D. Lahey, dob 11-04-1978, battery/cause bodily harm.
Brandie J. Menzie, dob 2-10-1995, criminal trespass to residence.
James M. Neuhoff, dob 9-04-1967, disorderly conduct.
Eric L. Ottwell, dob 7-30-1981, criminal trespass to land.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Ashleigh N. Collard, dob 11-19-1987, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to the right-of-way/T-intersection, failure to obey stop sign.
Montana V. Strader, dob 8-22-1990, driving under the influence of a drug, driving on revoked license, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver.
The following individuals were charged with domestic violence:
Christine M. Bosaw, dob 12-19-1989, two charges of domestic battery/physical contact.
Matthew D. Lahey, dob 11-04-1978, domestic battery/physical contact.
The following individuals were charged with an ordinance violation:
Patricia Stuckey, dob 8-18-1974, negligent driving.
Crystal Lynn Warren, dob 4-15-1958, possession of cannabis.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Jo S. Chanbin, dob 8-25-1995, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Joey D. Cox, dob 10-14-2004, speeding 26-34 mph over limit, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Ericka Marie Eidson, dob 11-27-1988, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Jacob C. Esparza, dob 12-22-1995, driving on suspended license, improper use registration/title.
Matthew J. Hall, dob 1-29-2004, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Stacie N. Polach, dob 2-17-1998, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Kelley J. Shirley, dob 10-14-1976, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
