Nords celebrate 60 years of marriage
Joe and Carol Nord of Carrollton will be celebrating 60 years of marriage this month. The couple was wed at St. Francis Xavier Church in Jerseyville on Saturday, June 29, 1963.
The Nords will be celebrated with a drive through event at the Jersey County Fairgrounds in Jerseyville on July 2 from 1 to 3 p.m. They are not asking for gifts— simply the presence of family and friends.
They are parents to David (Patti) Nord, Denise Nord, Chad Sanders, and Daniel (Camey) Nord, all of Carrollton. They are grandparents to Derek, Blake, Erika and Benjamin, and Nathan and Catelyn.
