The fair and the pool, summer hits Pleasant Hill
Pike County Fair is in full swing and so much going on with nightly events such as tractor pulls, monster trucks, and demo derby. Plus there are many kid’s rides, a petting zoo, livestock barn, dinoroar tour and of course eats and treats. A little something for young and old alike. Come on down to the fair!
The swimming pool should be open and all ready for you and the kiddos to take a splash! They will be open Monday-Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. then Sunday 2 to 6 p.m. It will also be open Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. It will be $3 daily admission and swim passes also available. Grant Peebles, manager, and the lifeguards are ready for you to have some fun in the sun!
Nebo will have their city wide clean up Monday, June 12.
“Enjoy the smell of honeysuckle, beauty of roadside wildflowers, morning coffee with the sunrise or perhaps take in the moon coming up, a birds joyful melody, the birth of newborn deer with momma, and maybe hangin’ the fresh washed laundry out on the line~welcome to June!”
