Don’t harden your heart in the destruction
IX The Hermit, XVI The Tower, VII Of Candles; Meadow: Vulnerability
Merry meet, dear readers. Before you continue, take note: Tarot is for everyone, no matter your walk of life. While the cards have their own singular meanings, tarot is also largely intuitive and the meanings can change; no two tarot readers read the same way. This is a generalized reading, so take only what resonates with you and discard the rest.
It’s easy to be blindsided when things don’t go to plan. You’ve got the everything planned out and an image of how it’s going to go, only for disaster to strike and those plans shatter. It’s not always because of matters we cannot control; there are times where it’s by our own pride and refusal to see the truth. When what you know, what you wanted, shatters, you’re left lost and confused in the rubble. A part of you and your ambitions, or what you thought they were, are gone. If you’re not used to this sense of weakness and vulnerability, you might find yourself hardening your heart to both yourself and others. Now is the time to step back and re-evaluate yourself, and by extension, your wants, desires, who you are and where you want to go. This is a time of self-reflection; don’t let other preconceptions on your person or the opinions of others influence you. Be wary of those who would try and manipulate you in this time of self-rediscovery.It’s not going to be easy and there is going to be pressure from both yourself and outside influences. Keep your defenses up and don’t let anything stand in the way of your recovery; stay resilient. Don’t let yourself and others impose a time limit and take your time.In the end, there’s light in the aftermath of the destruction. From where you’ve fallen and shattered, you’ll come back to find yourself again, with a complete sense of who you are, what you want and where you need to go. Go forward with this new sense of self and eyes open to the new opportunities that await. And with this newfound trust in yourself, you’ll find yourself able to be more vulnerable and able to work through rocky emotions and challenges better in the coming days.
I hope you find something for yourself in this reading, reader. May your days be filled with love and light, even when it all feels too much; and remember to always be kind. Merry part, and merry meet again! Blessed be.
