The Pikeland School board met twice in August. The first meeting was a special meeting, Aug. 11 and regular monthly meeting was Aug. 16.
At the two meeting, the board made the following personal moves:
Accept the resignations of Joyce Gray, district bus driver, Julie Rumple, paraprofessional at South; Becky Amann, paraprofessional at PHS and Susan Barnes, paraprofessional.
Hired: Rachel Benz, dean of students at PHS and South, Alicia Watkins, paraprofessional, Lori Slayden, special education, PCS, C-Pod, return to work, Jennifer Stendback, Title 1, South, 3 hrs daily Zack Ferguson, athletic supervision. John Heafner, large Nebo route, Kristi Heafner, athletic supervision, South School lunch supervisor and PHS custodian, Bethany Williams, South School recess, Amber Apps, special education assistant, up to 29 hours per week, Susan Barnes, paraprofessional at a South, Kyndle Christianer, paraprofessional at PCS, C pod, Kyli Foiiles, paraprofessional PCS D-Pod study hall, Katie Franklin, custodian at South, Patricial Carol lighter, guidance office assistant at PHS, Ashley Nash, transportation clerical, 20 hours per week, Paige Taylor and Ariel White, district nurses.
Volunteer positions: Holly Lowe, volunteer assistant volleyball coach, PCS, Maggie Marable, volunteer assistant volleyball coach, PCS, Tiffany Sanderson,volunteer assistant girls golf coach, PCS.
