The Warriors took a loss against Camp Point, and will take the field again at home this Friday against North Greene.
The Calhoun Warriors fell to Camp Point Friday night, 30-22.
Calhoun started the first quarter putting 14 points on the board with a 36 yard run from Miles Lorton, a three yard run from Chris Stanley, and two kicks from Pat Friedel. A 28 yard run in the first quarter gave Camp Point six points as they trailed the Warriors going into the second quarter.
Camp Point was able to take the lead by halftime, scoring 24 points in the second quarter while only allowing the Warriors eight points from a 65 yard run from Stanley and a run from Lorton.
Neither team managed to score in the second half, but Camp Points lead from the second quarter gave them the win, 30-22.
The Warriors are set to host North Greene this Friday, Sept. 8, at 7 p.m.
