Hello from Barrow Baptist Church and Pastor Mancel Day. Our service times are 9:30 a.m. Sunday school, followed by 10:30 a.m. morning worship. Everyone is invited to either or both services and we are handicap accessible.
On Sunday, Sept. 3, we had 28 attending Sunday school and 31 attending morning worship.
Remember our men and women in uniform and the leaders of our nation in your prayers. Happy birthday wishes go out to Debbie Grable Sept. 11. There are no anniversaries to report this week.
Our monthly ladies luncheon will be Tuesday, Sept. 12 at the fellowship hall at noon. All area ladies are welcome to attend and enjoy a tasty meal and Christian fellowship.
During morning worship, Rich Caskey sang “Thank You Lord.” This song was written by Marla Talkington Groves.
Stay cool during these hot days and pray we get some more much needed rain. Also be aware that the farmers are starting to take out their corn.
