Scott County Health Department (SCHD) has announced the October dates on which it will hold remote flu vaccination clinics at communities throughout the county.
SCHD will hold the clinics in Manchester, Alsey, and Winchester on Wednesday, Oct. 11, as well as in Bluffs on Thursday, Oct. 19.
According to SCHD staff, individuals need not reside in Scott County to receive vaccinations during the clinics. However, individuals must be at least 18 years of age.
Both high dose vaccinations, for senior citizens, and regular dose vaccinations are available at the clinics.
Those younger than 18 years of age can be vaccinated by appointment at the SCHD building in Winchester.
The complete list of vaccination times and locations is as follows:
Wednesday, Oct. 11
• Manchester – Manchester Baptist Church – 9-10 a.m.
• Alsey – Alsey Baptist Church – 10:30-11 a.m.
• Winchester – Nimrod Funk Building – 1-6 p.m.
Thursday, Oct. 19
• Bluffs – Senior Citizen Building – 1-3 p.m.
