Western Jr. High Volleyball wins regional championship
Western Middle School became the eighth grade 1A Regional Champions last week by defeating the No. 1 seeded St. John’s Lady Redbirds in straight sets. Western was seeded third in the Regional behind Greenfield, who they knocked out in the second round. In first round action, they took out Carrollton.

Lady Wolves end season with regional action
Lady Wolves compete at St. John’s Regionals in Carrollton
The Pleasant Hill Lady Wolves seventh grade volleyball team played in the first round of the Regionals at St. John’s in Carrollton Friday morning. Unfortunately, the Lady Wolves fell to a very tough Lady Redbird team in straight sets and their season ended.
