Lady Cougars leave North Greene in the dust By Kent Coultas Scott County Times Three players scored in double figures, and West Central beat North Greene 64-23 in girls basketball Jan. 19 at White Hall. West Central (14-8, 5-1 in WIVC) led 24-2 after one quarter and 37-12 at halftime. Vickie McGee scored 13 points to lead the Cougars. Aubrey Blevins scored 12, and Brylee Lawson scored 11. Trystan White scored six points. Elise Brown and Sofie Grubb each scored five points. Brylee Littig scored four points, and Bryleigh Fox scored three. Lady Cougars take down Pleasant Hill and Triopia

The West Central Lady Cougars ended up with fifth place in the Lady Spartan Tournament defeating Pleasant Hill on Saturday 51-40. for the fifth place ranking Saturday. On Monday night, they took on the Triopia Lady Trojans and easily defeated them 56-30.
