The Midwest Wrestling Coalition (MWC) is thrilled to announce Night of Champions, an unforgettable evening of high energy professional wrestling action on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Alton Wood River Sportsman Club in Godfrey.
This landmark event will feature an incredible lineup of talent, including stars from across the Midwest and beyond. Headlining the event is the highly anticipated MWC World Heavyweight Championship match between the powerhouse Curt Gannon and St. Louis’ own rising star, Brandon Barretta.
Making their MWC debut are the wildly entertaining Brothers of Funstruction, fresh off their appearances with JCW (Juggalo Championship Wrestling). The duo will bring their larger-than-life personalities to the Tag Team Fun House Match, facing the fearsome team of Rocco Barbarian and Salum Gust.
The MWC Women’s Title will also be on the line, featuring local fan favorite Madi Monarch, who is ready to prove her dominance against a fierce opponent, Lillith Khan. Fans won’t want to miss this showcase of athleticism, determination, and heart.
Also on the card: Attila Khan in the Coalition World Championship match against the relentless Josh Totten, The Whiskey Benders take on New Level in a battle for tag team champions and much more.
CEO Brie Dawson, one of the few women leaders in professional wrestling, expressed her excitement about bringing this event to the Godfrey area.
“MWC is committed to creating family-friendly entertainment while displaying incredible athletes from all over. Night of Champions is going to be something special for fans of all ages,” Dawson said.
