The following police reports were filed between December 13 and December 19, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Terry Ray Burke, dob 7-07-1988, aggravated DUI/3+, driving on a revoke license, cause circumstance/endanger child.
William P. Conway, dob 9-07-1969, possession of meth less than five grams, driving revoked/suspended DUI/SSS 4-9.
Jacob Daniel Gleason, dob 4-26-1994, aggravated fleeing/2+ controlled devices, driving on a revoked license.
Clarence R. Spring, dob 12-21-1987, possession of meth less than five grams, driving under the influence of a drug, driving on a suspended license.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Max Edward Gettings, dob 5-12-2006, purchase/possess liquor/minor.
Jessica S. Smith, dob 12-17-1983, guardian allows child truancy.
Ethin E. Yates, dob 10-09-2006, criminal damage to property less than $500.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Kerry A. Lennartz, dob 7-23-1987, driving under the influence of alcohol.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
John C. Chappell, dob 1-14-1992, speeding 35+ mph over limit, reckless driving, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
Ellie Rose Davis, dob 3-05-2008, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
William H. Guyer III, dob 4-25-1989, driving on a suspended license, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Garrett D. Lawson, dob 3-04-2003, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Haedon James Miller, dob 5-25-2004, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Douglas W. Short, dob 4-07-1979, leaving the scene, improper traffic lane usage.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Donna M. Churchich, dob 10-04-1973, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Samuel M. Lovel, dob 7-30-1990, operate uninsured motor vehicle, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
Lance A. McClintock, dob 9-23-1988, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
Levi J. Staples, dob 6-15-1997, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
