The Carrollton Police Department participated in the National Night Out on Aug. 5 providing children in the community with an evening of fun. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that aims to enhance relationships between neighbors and law enforcement. It serves as an opportunity for communities fostering camaraderie and promoting safety. There were games for the kids, plenty of food and an opportunity for them to check out the emergency vehicles, including the emergency helicopter. They could also have a free swim in the Carrollton Pool.
