Carrollton was all abuzz with action Friday afternoon as the annual Homecoming parade made its way from the high school on Third Street, down around the hospital and then up around the Square. It was the culmination of a week of activities for the high school students and the lead-off into the big game that night against arch-rival Greenfield/Northwestern. It was a close game but the Hawks came out on top defeating the Tigers, 13-7. At half-time, a new Homecoming King and Queen were crowned to reign over the dance Saturday night.

Chosen as this year’s Parade Marshal was none other than former High School Principal Leslee Frasier. Frasier retired at the end of the last school year after serving 15 years as the high school principal. (Carmen Ensinger/River County News)
