West Central’s girls’ cross country team competed last weekend at the Elmwood sectional.
Izzy Wellenreiter finished the race in 21:29.28.
Mae Rueter finished in 22:27.32, and Evynn Gregory finished in 25:12.62. Sofie Grubb finished in 27:41.65.
The Cougars qualified for the sectional by finishing third at the Rushville regional the previous week.
Wellenreiter finished ninth in 21:08. Rueter finished 12th in 21:34.70.
Gregory finished 29th in 24:35.20, and Grubb finished 38th in 26:32.60. Karoline Lomelino finished 43rd in 27:39.90.
