The 103rd Annual Winchester Invitation Tournament got underway Saturday with a full day of action. During the morning session local teams in action saw Western get defeated by South County 50-77 while Greenfield/Northwestern fell to Brown County 51-63. In the afternoon, Carrollton after making a stunning comeback from a 12 point deficit at one point in the game, fell to Staunton, 64-78. Calhoun defeated Triopia 57-43 and in the closer, the West Central Cougars easily defeated the North Greene Spartans, 70-39.
