The following police reports were filed between January 16 and January 22, 2026. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Steve F. Johnson, dob 1-06-1987, aggravated domestic battery/strangle, unlawful restraint.
Tyler D. Lockhart, dob 10-27-1994, bring cannabis into a penal institution.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Jeffrey J. Garcia, dob 2-11-1973, driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to reduce speed.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Tyler D. Lockhart, dob 6-26-1989, domestic battery/bodily harm, battery/cause bodily harm.
The following individuals were charged with a ordinance violation:
Carols A. Dominguez, dob 7-09-1967, negligent driving.
Manuel G. Garcia, dob n/a, disorderly conduct.
Jacob Gundlach, dob n/a, inoperable/unlicensed vehicle, junk, trash and refuse.
Westin Michael Lindemann, dob 2-23-2003, improper parking.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Chad C. Bauman, dob 5-14-1971, driving on a suspended license, registration expiration/1st & 2nd.
Charles E. Stephens, dob 2-16-1974, driving on a suspended license.
Nathan A. Thacker, dob 5-19-1975, driving on a suspended license, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Corey S. Westfall, dob 2-18-1981, leaving the scene.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Jacob C. Bertman, dob 12-19-2000, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Lisa D. Cunningham, dob 11-18-1974, expiration of registration.
Robert W. Eden, dob 5-30-1967, registration expiration/1st & 2nd, disregard yield sign.
Michael L. Harkey, dob 10-12-1976, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver, failure to reduce speed.
Andrew S. Holtmann, dob 12-02-1991, illegal stopping/standing/parking.
Scottie L. Rushton, dob 3-15-1971, disregard official traffic-control device, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver, failure to reduce speed.
