Calhoun County State’s Attorney issues felony warrant for defrauding drug screening

DAVID A. DEPPER
On February 10, 2026, David A Depper, aged 40, Homeless, was ordered to submit to a Court Authorized Drug analysis, as a Condition of his Pre-Trial Release on another unrelated arrest.
These samples were collected and submitted to Calhoun County Pre-Trial Services and subsequently reviewed by members of that office and the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office.
The matter was forwarded to the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office for further investigation.
Subsequent to an investigation, it is alleged that Depper had falsified or altered the test.
On March 19, 2026, the Calhoun County State’s Attorney’s Office issued a felony warrant for Depper for the offense of Defrauding Drug and Alcohol Screening Test.
On March 23, 2026, Depper was arrested by Law Enforcement Officials with the Jersey County Sheriff’s Office for the aforementioned warrant.
