This weekend is Got Faith? Weekend in Jersey County from Thursday, May 7, to Sunday, May 10.
The weekend was originally proclaimed as “Got Faith? Feed and Inspire the Hungry Weekend” in 2016, recognizing the work and dedication Got Faith? Ministries puts into the community.
As part of Got Faith? Weekend, anyone wearing their Got Faith? t-shirt at a participating local Jersey County business can receive a discount or special promotion, just for recognizing and supporting Got Faith?’s efforts.
Some of the included promotions are 10% off items at Farm and Home Supply, a free large cone from McCarry’s Dairyland, $3 off a haircut at Washington Street Barber, free bread putting at the Grafton Oyster Bar, and $2 off Grafton sky tour tickets to Aries.
As a faith-based, interdenominational, non-profit organization, Got Faith? seeks to feed and inspire the hungry by lending a hand to those in need and encouraging community outreach.
As part of Got Faith?’s mission to feed and inspire the hungry, the organization encourages everyone to take the money saved at the local businesses during Got Faith? weekend and place it in the offering basket at their own church.
Got Faith? Weekend will kick off on the National Day of Prayer, and they’ll be holding a prayer session on Thursday, May 7, at 5 p.m. with a free meal of burgers and hot dogs at 508 W. Pine Street in Jerseyville.
For more information on Got Faith? Ministries, visit their website at www.gotfaithonline.org or their Facebook page.
Got Faith? shirts can be purchased for $10 at 2nd Time Around, Miss Martha’s Closet and Nana’s Hometown Sweets and Eats.
