Grafton American Legion Memorial Day service
The Grafton American Legion, Post 648, will be holding a Memorial Day service at the post flag poles (weather permitting) on Monday, May 25th. at 12 noon. The service will begin with the raising of the American flag to full mast and then the post honor guard will honor the colors and fallen with a rifle salute, a reading of the story of S.Sgt. Robert Miller, US Army posthumous Medal of Honor winner, and the Rev. Tom Foster will offer the invocation and benediction. Following the ceremony at approximately one o’clock burgers and hot dogs will be offered until gone and music provided by Jeff McGee of the Harvest Drive Band. The public is invited.
