The following criminal cases were resolved in Scott County Circuit Court in June of 2026:
1. Morgan L. Riech DOB 1/28/1999; plead guilty to Violation of Stalking No Contact Order; ordered to pay fine and costs of $689.00.
2. Jonathan L. Well DOB 9/16/1985; plead guilty to Driving while License Revoked; ordered to pay costs of $551.00; sentenced to 2 years and 6 months incarceration with the Illinois Department of Corrections.
3. Michael A. Elliott DOB 05/22/1974; found guilty of Driving on Expired Driver’s License; ordered to pay fine and costs of $164.00.
4. Robert E. Cohenour DOB 3/8/1969; plead guilty to Driving on Revoked License; ordered to pay costs of $327.00; sentenced to 30 days of periodic imprisonment in the Morgan County Jail.
5. Amanda J. Johnson DOB 04/26/1988; plead guilty to Speeding Over 25 MPH; order to pay fine and costs of $827.00.
6. Brady J. Smith DOB 3/15/1999; plead guilty to Hunting without a License; ordered to pay fine and costs of $697.00.
7. Rodney G. Wilson DOB 6/28/1967; plead guilty to Unlawful Loaning/Transferring Permit; ordered to pay fine and costs of $1,697.00.
8. Logan T. Spradlin DOB 6/18/1999; plead guilty to Domestic Battery; ordered to pay fine and costs of $1,139.00; placed on 12 months of conditional discharge.
9. Katherine Fuqua DOB 12/05/1987; plead guilty to Retail Theft; ordered to pay fine and costs of $1,649.00 and restitution of $848.00; placed on 24 months of probation.
10. Matthew Richardson DOB 07/01/1979; plead guilty to Aggravated Assault; ordered to pay fine and costs of $939.00; placed on 12 months of conditional discharge.
11. John Turner DOB 04/02/1954; plead guilty to Failure to Register as a Sex Offender; ordered to pay fine and costs of $1,814.00; placed on 24 months of conditional discharge.
12. Wesley Kruse DOB 03/07/1982; plead guilty to Expired Registration; ordered to pay fine and costs of $164.00.
13. Cedric A. Johnson DOB 1/21/1996; Ex Parte conviction entered for Speeding in a Construction Zone; ordered to pay fine and costs of $482.00.
