The DMV will be in Hardin on Sept. 4 and Nov. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. this is located at the Home Extension Office and an appointment is needed. To schedule your appointment

There will be a Women’s Prayer Breakfast held September 26 at St. Josephs Hall in Meppen, Ill. This will include breakfast, prayer, reflection and fellowship providing an opportunity for women to strengthen their faith and grow in community. The cost is $30 and portion of the proceeds will be donated to St Vincent DePaul Food Pantry.
We continue to have openings for the Frozen Meal Program and Home Delivery Meals if you or you know of someone that could benefit with our programs give us a call and we will be happy to assist you.

Friday, July 24: Chicken Salad Sandwich, Chips, Carrot Sticks & Apple Slices.
Monday, July 27: Beef Pepper Patty, Brussel Sprouts, Roasted Redskin Potatoes, Cookies.
Tuesday, July 28: Tator Tot Casserole, Mixed Vegetables, Black Eyed Peas, Pears.
Wednesday, July 29: Baked Turkey, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy, Lima Beans, Cherry Fluff.
Meals include milk, water, tea, butter and bread.
MEDICARE AND OTHER COVERAGE: When you have Medicare and other coverage who pays first?
When you have Medicare and other coverage Medicare will the primary payer. Primary insurance pays all or part of the costs. In addition, the secondary insurance will pay all or part of the bill that Medicare did not take care of. Usually, it is 80% Medicare -20% secondary insurance. It is important that the provider knows that you have both Medicare and another insurance so that both will be available for payment information.
