The following police reports were filed between December 1 through December 31, 2023. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Calhoun County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Laura L. Green, dob 8-13-1977, theft control intent between $10K-$100K, receive/possess/sell stolen vehicle.
Teresa L. Blanco, dob 2-23-1963, possession of meth less than five grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Annabelle M. Hammond, dob 2-18-2002, aggravated battery/use deadly weapon, aggravated assault/use deadly weapon, three charges of aggravated assault/operate motor vehicle/struck, aggravated fleeing police/21 mph over limit, criminal damage to property between $500-$10K, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, three charges of battery/cause bodily harm, speeding 35+ mph over limit and leaving the scene.
Zachary N. Schwalb, dob 11-14-1992, aggravated battery/public place, battery/cause bodily harm, domestic battery/bodily harm, two charges of criminal damage to property less than $500.
Anthony W. Waters, dob 11-05-1979, possession of meth/between 5-15 grams, possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possession of drug paraphernalia.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Kent E. Schulze, dob 7-09-1964, criminal damage to property less than $500, disorderly conduct.
Eric L. Rose, dob 1-23-1999, failure to surrender FOID card, shot gun over three shots/unplug.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Karen A. Bray, dob 2-28-1962, driving under the influence of a drug, canceled/revoked/suspended registration/IL, improper traffic lane usage, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individual was charged with a major traffic violation:
Brandon L. Herter, dob 4-20-1994, canceled/revoked/suspended registration/IL, no valid registration/1st and 2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Roy E. Gettings, dob 11-11-1969, transport/carry alcohol liquor/driver.
Daniel J. Garrick, dob 7-07-1975, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Jackie F. Springer II, 3-06-1990, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Brett J. Huette, dob 10-10-1989, driving 11-14-mph above limit.
Amanda D. Klaas, dob 6-12-2002, failure to reduce speed.
