Chuck Frost has been elected Kiwanis District 29 Lieutenant Governor for the 2024-25 year which begins October 1st. Chuck is currently serving as Co – Lt. Governor with Tracy Armstrong.
Our January Winchester Food Pantry was a very cold Saturday morning and our numbers reflected it. A total of 69 people were served from 29 families with 19 children. Key Club member Cordelia Fuller was a big help!
Royal Neighbors and Glasgow Baptist Church both made donations to our Winchester Kiwanis Food Pantry.
Drawing winners for January were: Jan. 2nd – Dave Roberts, Jan. 9th – Brittany Peterson, Jan. 16th – Samantha Marhula, Jan. 23rd – Jay Rueter, Jan. 30th – Bethany Doolin.
Our Kiwanis Club has reserved the lot at Scotty’s for a pork chop sandwich fundraiser on Saturday, July 13th.
Thank you letters have been received from Brown County Kiwanis for our donation to their new club and from Jane White for Christmas Basket delivery.
Carson Brown, Zac Howard, and Caden Meyer helped with the Christmas Basket pick up and delivery on December 20th. They were not recognized last month.
Program chairs for February are: Feb. 6th – board meeting, Feb. 13th – Bryan Hubbert, Feb. 20th – Reta Jackson, Feb. 27th – Samantha Marhula.
