The following police reports were filed between March 1 and March 7. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Daniel Lee Deverger, dob 2-17-1986, two charges of possession of an amount of a controlled substance except (A)/(D), possession of drug paraphernalia, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Neal A. Dickinson, dob 7-17-1960, theft/control/person less than $500.
Christopher B. Thomas, dob 11-16-1979, aggravated discharge of a firearm/occupied building.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Joseph Dale East, dob 11-11-1998, theft/unauthorized control/less than $500.
Brendan D. Hartley, dob 9-21-2000, violate order of protection.
Brandi M. Hillig, dob 3-17-1980, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Corina L. Pohlman, dob 2-06-1961, retail theft/display merchandise/less than $300.
The following individuals were charged with a DUI:
Brandon L. Cathers, dob 1-02-1994, driving under the influence of alcohol, operate uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed, unsafe backing onto a roadway, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08.
John A. Medina, dob 9-09-1994, driving under the influence of alcohol, unlicensed, operate uninsured motor vehicle, disregard stop sign, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08.
Justice Amadeus Scott Self, dob 1-30-1998, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving on a revoked license, driving 21-25 mph above limit, operate uninsured motor vehicle, disregard stop sign.
The following individual was charged with a domestic violence violation:
Marc A. Wock, dob 1-21-1984, domestic battery/bodily harm.
The following individual was charged with an ordinance violation:

The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Kayla M. Arnold, dob 5-27-2001, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Austin D. Barrett, dob 7-17-1997, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Matthew Brown, dob 7-29-1999, canceled/revoked/suspended registration/IL.
Aiden J. Chandler, dob 5-23-2007, speeding 35+ mph over limit.
Tyler A. Farris, dob 6-17-2000, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Bronson W. Hayes, dob 12-20-1999, reckless driving.
James M. Herrmann, dob 1-10-2001, speeding 26-34 mph over limit, operate vehicle registration suspended/2nd, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Edward A. Hetzel, dob 2-03-1943, leaving the scene.
