Three Pleasant Hill FFA students participated in the recent Illinois State FFA Convention, June 12.
Drew Workman, son of Darin and Lori Workman, and Kalebl Freesmeyer, son of Jeff and Janeen Freesmeyer, both received the prestigious, Illinois State Degree.
Kali Vanstrien had the honor to participate in the Illinois State FFA Choir.
To be eligible for the Illinois State FFA Degree, a student must complete 11 qualifications including, but, not limited to: been an active FFA member for two years, received the FFA Chapter Degree, worked an excess of 750 hours in excess of scheduled class time in a supervised agricultural experience programs, be in the upper 40 percent of their class or have an average of 3.5 on a 5.0 scale. participated in 25 hours of community service actives that are not a part of the member’s supervised agricultural experience hours and are in addition to the hours required.
