The following police reports were filed between August 23 and August 29, 2024. These reports are public information and are obtained from the Jersey County Circuit Clerk’s office. All individuals have been arrested and charged, or cited in the case of traffic violations. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The following individuals were charged with a felony:
Aaron Edward Anderson, dob 9-17-1987, two charges of burglary without causing damage, retail theft/display merchandise greater than $300.
Danny J. Copeland, dob 11-24-1976, burglary without causing damage.
Mark A. Dawber, dob 6-22-1983, possession of meth less than five grams, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Elias L.D. Fraley, dob 3-23-1992, aggravated domestic battery/strangle, possession of meth less than five grams.
Aaron L. Herrmann, dob 9-07-1985, criminal damage to property between $500-$10K.
Jason E. Moxey Sr., dob 10-16-1974, violate sex offender registry.
Alan K. Simpson, dob 12-19-1982, aggravated domestic battery/strangle.
The following individuals were charged with a misdemeanor:
Bryan R. Abbey, dob 7-18-1985, violate order of protection.
Brooklynn M. Witt, dob 2-08-2003, resisting a peace officer, firefighter or correctional employee, obstructing a peace officer, firefighter or correctional employee.
The following individual was charged with a DUI:
Tyler James Wilson, dob 5-29-1989, driving under the influence/blood alcohol concentration 0.08, driving under the influence of alcohol.
The following individual was charged with domestic violence:
Lauren E. Boschert, dob 4-05-1997, domestic battery/bodily harm.
The following individual was charged with a conservation violation:
Timothy C. Swan, dob 7-10-1995, fishing without a license.
The following individuals were charged with a major traffic violation:
Daniel James Helfert, dob 7-15-1991, driving on a revoked license.
Sean Thomas Maronie, dob 2-09-1997, speeding 26-34 mph over limit.
Savana N. Partridge, dob 1-02-1990, driving on a suspended license, no valid registration/1st and 2nd.
The following individuals were charged with a traffic violation:
Alexander J. Bagnato, dob 8-15-1999, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
Tanner D. Hansberger, dob 4-13-2006, driving 15-20 mph above limit.
Nicholas L. Hutchens, dob 1-10-1985, operate uninsured motor vehicle.
Ashley N. Lovett, dob 6-01-1991, driving 21-25 mph above limit, registration expiration/1st and 2nd.
Braden A. Pohlman dob 1-16-2007, driving 21-25 mph above limit.
