Pittsfield council opts to turn collections over to the comptroller
By BETH ZUMWALT The Pittsfield City Council met Wednesday, March 18, for the second of their twice-monthly meetings. A law has recently passed to prohibit governmental meetings on election days and since the council second meeting of the month fall on the third Tuesday of the month, it conflicted with the election.

This presented a security problem and with this in mind, the Carrollton City Council discussed the purchase of cameras for the facility at the March meeting.
