Jacque Anne Crum | 70 | South Jacksonville

Jacque Anne Crum, 70, of South Jacksonville passed away in her sleep on Saturday morning, September 18, 2021. She was born September 20, 1950 in White Hall the daughter of Russell and Frances Craigmiles DeVault. She married Bobby C. Crum on December 31, 1969 at Calvary Baptist Church in White Hall and they celebrated 51 years together.

She is survived by her husband, Bobby C. Crum of South Jacksonville; her sister, Tammy (Harold) Winters of White Hall; one niece, Traci (Jerry) Rawe of Carrollton and one nephew, Eric Winters of St. Louis She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert DeVault.

Jacque had worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse in Springfield, caring for the Dominican Sisters, at Barton W. Stone Christian Home in Jacksonville  and at White Hall Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She volunteered with the White Hall Ambulance for 13 years. She was a member of the South Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Auxiliary for many years. Bobby and Jacque enjoyed bowling, playing cards and watching the birds and game shows. Molly, their rescued cat of 9 years was the highlight of their lives.

A private service will be held with burial at White Hall Cemetery at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the South Jacksonville Fire & Rescue Squad or the Jacksonville Food Bank.
