The students in Mrs. Leonard’s and Mrs. Sichting’s third grade class spent the month of November learning about all things dairy. They learned why cow tags are used and took a virtual tour of a dairy farm. They enjoyed the storybook Tales of a Dairy Godmother by Viola Butler. The students also had fun making butter by shaking a small container of heavy whipping cream until it turned to butter.
