After a successful season of “lighting up Kampsville,” the vibrant light display at the Veterans Memorial Park will be turned off on Jan. 1.
In an online post, the Lite up Kampsville committee thanked the Village of Kampsville for the support and allowing them to “spread holiday cheer in the village.”
Additionally, the committee extended gratitude to everyone who donated lights and helped decorate as well as the community members who showed their support by lighting up their houses. “Thank you to everyone who came to visit the Village of Kampsville to enjoy the lights,” the post read. “We can’t wait until next year.”
The committee also announced that they are “off to plan their 2022 Christmas Tree Lighting and Lite Up Kampsville’s Christmas Light Contest.”
