The public is invited to register for the University of Illinois Extension’s 26th Annual Gardener’s Palette, held in Quincy. This all-day conference has something for all levels of gardening interest and experience. Presentations will be given by experts in horticulture, natural resources, and landscape.

Location: Quincy Senior & Family Resource Center – 639 York St., Quincy

Two “make & take” workshops will also be offered. The morning workshop will teach how to plant and maintain succulents. Each participant will be able to pot and take home their choice of baby succulents. The additional cost for this class is $20. The afternoon workshop will focus on flavoring with herbs.
Participants will be able to create their own herb-infused vinegar. The additional cost for this class is $10.
