■ Members of the Nancy Ross Chapter DAR invite the public to hear Mr. Brandon Moore, instructor, and his students speak about the Pike County CEO (Creating Entrepreneurial Opportunities) class. The meeting will be at the Cardinal Inn Tuesday, March 15. Dutch Treat will be at 5:45 p.m. and the program will be at 6:15 p.m. (Chapter business meeting will begin at 5 p.m. The students in this class visit various businesses, get real life experience by creating their own businesses, learn problem solving skills, communication techniques, and other concepts needed to be successful in the 21st century.
■ Pikeland Music Boosters annual fundraiser dinner will be March 25 at Pikeland Community School. Band and chorus students in 5-8 grade will perform. Serving times will be announced
