The Jersey Calhoun Jaycees sold all of the tickets for their hog raffle, benefiting Calhoun Volunteer Ambulance Service. Members of the Jaycees presented a giant check to the group in the amount of $4,326 on Sunday, March 20, at AJ’s Bar and Grill. The winner of the processed hog was Stacy Wooten of Jerseyville.

Wanda Blackwell of Calhoun Volunteer Ambulance Service gives a speech on Sunday, following the hog raffle drawing. She thanked the organization and community for their generosity. The money will be used for necessary updates to the ambulances before they are inspected.
