This coming Sunday is when we celebrate Easter, Christ’s resurrection, and “Because He Lives, We Can Face Tomorrow.”
The spaghetti dinner fundraiser for the Mississippi Valley Christian Service Camp will be Sunday, April 24, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Crossroads Center in Pittsfield. This is either eat in or carry out. Come out to enjoy a good meal with fellowship and all for a good cause.

Mark and Becky Winner recently visited with relatives in Canton. Mark’s aunt Erma Garner and all three of her kids, Tammy (Jess) Knight of Washington, Mindy (Ron) Cloninger of Canton and Troy Garner of Canton. Erma celebrated her birthday with pizza at Monical’s in Canton. Then the group moved to Mindy and Ron’s house in rural Canton for the afternoon. Mark and Becky went from there to Peoria for the state bowling tournament which was the next day.
Sunday, April 10, Rena Waddell of Louisiana met cousin Wyvetta Davis at the Atlas Cafe for lunch. (Enjoyed visiting with her.)
