The annual Pleasant Hill 4th of July is scheduled to kick-off Monday, July 4. The theme is Sparkle and Shine with American Pride.
First up will be the parade at 11 a.m. with line-up at 10 a.m. at the fairgrounds. A registration form is on the Pleasant Hill 4th of July’s Facebook page and should be submitted by July 3.
Following the parade, the activities will move to the park on the hill.
The free swim at the Pleasant Hill Pool will be from 1-3 p.m.
The pageants with the Miss and Junior Miss will begin at 1:15 p.m., followed by the Prince and Princess, the Little Mr. and Miss and wrapping up with the babies at approximately 3 p.m.
During the pageants there will be games, including Minute-To-Win-It and other games at the playground until 5 p.m.
Also at 3 p.m. is the corn hole tournament at the ball diamond.
Catfish Willie will take the stage at 5 p.m. and the fireworks will start at dusk.
There will be food and drinks available throughout the day.
