Country Financial Supports Barry Fire Department with Operation Helping Heroes Donation. Representative Jon Fesler presents donation check to assist with Equipment purchases.
Country Financial Representative Jon Fesler recently showed his support of the Barry Fire Department’s purchase of equipment. Fesler presented an Operation Helping Heroes Donation of $1,500 to the Barry Fire Department on Aug. 16.
According to Barry Fire Department Fire Chief Jason Fee, this donation will go towards purchasing Self Contained Breathing Apparatus. (SCBA). A self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) is a device worn to provide breathable air in environments with oxygen deficiency, smoke, dangerous gases, and other airborne contaminants that may be otherwise dangerous to breathe. Fee said that one SCBA carries a price tag of over $9,000.
We are so pleased to be able to help take care of those who help care for us and enrich our lives every day within our community – our local volunteer Fire Department,” said Fesler. “This donation is a small token of our appreciation that will continue to positively impact our community through purchasing equipment for our Fire Department Volunteers”
Country Financial has donated more than $4 million since 2020 to organizations and programs that support teachers, first responders, active-duty service members and veterans, supporting the company’s vision to “enrich lives in the communities we serve.” The Operation Helping Heroes program was created in 2015 to support non-profit events and programs that benefit active-duty service members, veterans and their families. Later, the program expanded to include first responders and teachers.
