The annual Winchester Veterans’ Organizations Golf Outing is scheduled for 8 a.m. on Sept. 10 at Winchester’s Plum Creek Golf Course.
Proceeds from the event benefit both the Winchester American Legion and the Winchester VFW.
The event will be a four-person, best ball, scramble.
The sign-up fee is $300 per team.
Prizes will be available for winners and second place finishers, based on the number of teams entered in the event.
The registration fee is good for 18 holes of best ball golf, a cart, pulled pork sandwich, drink, and bag of chips.
The winner will be entered to win a cash prize based on the number of entries. Second place will be eligible to win prizes from Scheels and other donated prizes.
