If the weatherman is kind the Hardin Centennial Parade will be the biggest thing of its kind ever witnessed in Calhoun.
Almost daily, business firms and organizations are sending word that they want to be represented in this parade, and many local firms, clubs, etc., together with the schools will be in the procession.
However, what will probably be the greatest attraction will be the 85-piece band which Ed Barman, of the North American Cold Storage Co., has promised to send.
Members of the entertainment committee were certainly pepped up at Mr. Barman’s offer. Now, it doesn’t matter where you live, or how bad your roads are, you simply have to be in the County Seat Oct. 29.
