The St. Vincent DePaul Food Bank in Hardin is holding a food collection drive this weekend, sponsored by the Calhoun Farm Bureau Women’s Committee. The two-day “Stock the Shelves” event will take place on Friday, Oct. 21, from 2:30 to 5 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 22, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The committee will be set up at the four-way stop in Hardin, collecting the following items: non-perishable foods, personal hygiene products, blankets/throws, new or slightly-used winter coats (working zippers, no holes, no missing buttons/snaps, no stains).
Additionally, items may also be dropped off at the Farm Bureau Office at 204 North County Road at any time.
