The 29th annual Kampsville Kids Christmas Party was held on Sunday, Dec. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m.
The event included raffles, a treat walk, visits with Santa and the Grinch, activities, treats, and each child received a free gift.
The event is headed up by Diane Brangenberg and Debby Klunk. Brangenberg said the event was a success, despite slightly smaller crowds, due to sicknesses going around the area.
“Due to so many little ones being sick, our crowd was down a little bit this year, but still plentiful,” said Brangenberg. “Thank you so much to Santa for spending the evening in Kampsville with us as well as the Grinch who stopped in to try to steal some of our Christmas Cheer. We had more raffle baskets than we have ever had, thanks to the generosity of so many individuals and businesses here in our town.”

Autumn Lewis was so excited when her name was picked out to win this basket full of princess dolls at the Kampsville Kids Christmas Party. It was almost too heavy for her to carry, but that didn’t stop her from lifting it off the table.
