Dollar General in Hardin closed for several days over the weekend due to “an upper management issue,” according to store staff.
Staff members expressed that Super Bowl weekend is typically a big one for sales, and that they were surprised about the timing.
Other stores in the region temporarily closed down over the weekend as well, but they also re-opened on Monday.
Hardin’s store staff said that there are not any other foreseeable closures and that the store is “open and everything’s looking good here.”
Dollar General Corporation Public Relations apologized for the inconvenience.
“Our stores in Hardin (201 French Street) and Carrollton (601 South Main Street) briefly closed this weekend and are open to continue serving the community,” they said. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
