• There will be an American Red Cross Blood Drive on Wednesday, March 1, 1 p.m. – 6 p.m., at Crossroads. Your donation is needed.

• World day of prayer 2023 World Day of Prayer will be held Wednesday, March 1, at 4 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pittsfield.World Day of Prayer is a worldwide, ecumenical movement of Christian women of many traditions who come together to observe a common day of prayer each year.Father Mark Schulte, Pastor of St. Mary’s Church, will be the speaker.

• The Pike County Senior Citizens Center at 220 West Adams Street in Pittsfield will be holding a fundraiser Fish Fry Thursday, March 9 4:30-6 p.m. The menu will be your choice of catfish fillet or buffalo with 3 set sides plus your choice of dessert.
