Applications for Farm Bureau scholarships through the Two Rivers Farm Bureau Foundation are now available. The $5,000 in scholarships are made possible through generous donations from Pike-Scott Farm Bureau members.
■ Two $1,000 Scott County scholarships will be awarded to successful applicants from Scott County.
■ The $1,000 Pike County scholarship is available to a qualifying student from Pike County.
■ The $1,000 Rod Webel Memorial Scholarship is offered to qualified students who are dependents of Pike-Scott Farm Bureau members and attend high school in Pike County.
■ The $1,000 Wayne Riley Scholarship is open to an FFA student graduating from Griggsville-Perry High School.
All the scholarships will be awarded to a graduating senior pursuing an education at a technical school, community college, college, or university of their choice and are a dependent of a Farm Bureau member. A major in an agricultural field is required to be selected for the scholarship
Applications and selection criteria are available at the Pike-Scott Farm Bureau, high school guidance counselors, and FFA Advisors. Scholarships must be completed using a fillable PDF form provided. All scholarship applications must be returned by the end of the day March 31.
