The Pike County Quail and Upland Management Association awarded five scholarships at their banquet on Feb. 25. The Scholarship was renamed in honor of long time QUMA board member Roger Frazier in April of 2021. Frazier was always an advocate of programs to benefit youth. Awardees were: Chloe Chastain who plans to attend the University of Kentucky to major in Animal Science; Weston McAllister who plans to attend John Wood Community College to major in Environmental Sciences; Adam Musgrave, who plans to attend Parkland College majoring in Agribusiness; Jameson Noble, who will be pursuing a career in welding; and Hunter Roach, who will attend Lewis and Clark Community College to major in Conservation.
Money is raised at the banquet to provide these scholarships. Pike County QUMA is excited to help these students further their career goals.
