Saturday morning’s weather was windy and cold, perfect for a pot of burgoo. Members of the Oddfellows Lodge held their traditional burgoo April 1 in Douglas Park. Cooking began Friday night. Helping stir and serve the yumminess were, left to right, John Paul Coonrod, John Coonrod, Chuck Frost, Quinn Jefferson and Chalmer Herring.
